The Memory Project

October 1, 2014 — The Memory Project features first-hand accounts from veterans and members currently serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. They talk about their experiences in a range of conflict and peacekeeping missions -- from World War II to more recent occupations in Afghanistan and the Middle East.

Available in both English and French, this website boasts a bank of streaming audio and video files that can be used to contextualize and extend students' learning. It also offers several activities and lesson plans that can be adapted to suit K-12 classrooms in a variety of subject areas.
